Résumé : |
The privilege of being part of the 125th Division, Advanced Staff Course, is the most recent in a line of many opportunities for self-development I have received over course of the 12 years I have spent in the Army so far, and will undoubtedly not be the last. By means of this paper, I would like to share some of my thoughts on Civil Affairs operations with my current international colleagues, as well as with my future colleagues. In addition to my fellow “stagiairs” and instructors, I would like to extend a special thank you to my former colleagues of the Fort Bragg-based 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne) and the 4th Military Information Support Group (Airborne) for graciously accommodating my requests for information and patiently answering my questions. Lastly, this paper is my own, personal opinion. It does not reflect the opinion of the Schools of Other Nations Program, the United States Army, or the United States Department of Defense. |
