| Résumé : | German and American Reorientation Toward NATO consists of contributions to a conference that the Netherlands Atlantic Association organised in November 2005 in cooperation with the Institute for German Studies (DIA) in Amsterdam. A group of 35 experts from Europe and the United States discussed, among other things, the future roles of NATO and the EU, the changing roles of the United States and Germany in transatlantic relations, the development of the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy and its consequences for NATO, and, finally, the role that the EU and NATO (can) play in combating terrorism. |
